Suns Win 6th Straight, 122-116 Over Milwaukee Bucks
Four Phoenix Suns players scored 20 points or more and Raja Bell added 18 more in a 122-116 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks. The win was the Suns 19th in a row at home against the up & coming Bucks, and their 6th consecutive win overall this year.
Superstar Michael Redd was nearly unstoppable for most of the game and finished with 37 points. Mo Williams helped out with 31 points and 10 rebounds, and Ruben Patterson added 16 points in a losing effort.
For the Suns, Steve Nash finished with 27 points and 11 assists, Shawn Marion also had 27 points and 14 rebounds, Amare Stoudemire added 22 pts & 11 rbs, but fouled out with just over three minutes to play and had to watch the team hold a narrow lead.
The Bucks got the game within 3 points with just under one minute to go, but Marion sealed the game with four free throws.
The win puts Phoenix in 2nd place in the Pacific Division, just one game behind the L.A. Lakers. At 9-6, the Suns are making their way up the NBA ranks and would sit in the 7th seed if the playoffs started today (early I know).
