The Suns played the Mavericks and Lakers this week, and while they should've come out 2-0, Dallas wouldn't let them off the hook.  In the week's earlier game, the Suns had a big lead in the 4th quarter over Dallas, but allowed them to come back and force overtime.  After going to double overtime, Steve Nash narrowly missed a 3-pointer over Dirk Nowitski as time expired.  The Suns lost 111-108, despite a great performance from Nash.

In the Lakers game, the Suns once again almost let the lead slip away.  Leading by 17 in the 4th quarter, they allowed LA to get within 3 points before shutting the door and taking the game, 122-112.  Steve Nash led the team once again with 17 assists and Shawn Marion played well, pouring in 30 points and snagging 11 rebounds.  Raja Bell and James Jones also had strong games for the new-look Suns.

Phoenix wraps up a 2 game roadtrip on Saturday night in Utah.  The Jazz beat up on the Mavericks on Wednesday for their 1st win of the season.  The Suns will have to keep tabs on Andrei Kirilenko throughout the game to come out victorious.
